In 2012, he, along with a few others from the industry, purchased a well-established independent agency in IA. This acquisition opened the doors for him in the independent world, allowing him to offer a variety of policies, including Commercial Insurance and Farm Insurance, to his customers. In 2016, he parted ways and established his own independent agency back in McPherson, KS, where he now resides with his beautiful wife and three girls.
